May 1969. I had already been at Fort Sill for 3 months. Just finishing up Artillery Officers Basic School. Back home Cic and Carolyn were getting married - 37 years ago this month - this week I think.
That's Best Man Joe (aka carburner- the original redhead) and Cic. The only wedding of all my friends that I missed. I hear it was a heck of a bachelor party. Cic was dancing on a table, fell off of it and went Kaboom! Look real close and you can see the bump on his forehead covered with globs of make-up.
Ah yes those were the days when we knew how to party. 37 years. Wow that was fast.
