I can't remember the last time I did an oil painting. So when I decided to do a 40 x 60 mural for the kitchen, it was an ambitious challenge for me.
Our kitchen theme is yellow. I wanted a painting that gave the impression you were looking out a window. Below was a Tuscan Villa situated in the rolling hills of Italy - lots of golden yellows and reds.
This weekend my granddaughter Natalie was visiting from Massachusetts and she wanted to help me paint. I welcomed the opportunity for Natalie to help her Pappa Joe.
I'll keep you posted on the progress of the mural.
Hi Joe and Valerie! So sorry to hear about your troubles but want to assure you that you are in our daily prayers. It's a tough thing, but I know what a wonderful support system you have in your family and many friends. We're all in your corner; just give a shout out when you need anything. Peg Hogan
