Everyone turns into a kid at DisneyWorld - like my 20-something daughter and my 30-something son-in-law. And of course my first grandchild, Natalie Gabrielle.
Last year we attended one of my younger cousin's Disney Wedding. Got to say it was quite an experience. Probably not for everyone - but you really have to experience it if you can.
Anyway, while there my wife and I joined the Disney Vacation Club. We figured with grandchildren on the way, visits to Disney would be a good opportunity to spend some quality time with them. Enter Natalie Gabrielle, born July 11, 2006. Her family lives in the Boston area, we're Jersey people.
It was off to Florida in late March. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite at the new Saratoga Springs resort. OUTSTANDING. We took in Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. Epcot never gets old. WARNING: the Magic Kingdom gets so over-crowded in way too many sections that you can hardly move or breathe.
There were only 2 reasons we went to the Magic Kingdom - to get Natalie her first pair of Mickey ears - mission acomplished - and to take in the only attraction I wanted to personally experience for the umpteenth time - Pirates of the Caribbean. Pirates was closed for refurbishing - BUMMER.
May I suggest you check out what attractions are closed before going to Disney in order to avoid any disappointed kids (like me). Can you imagine what our international visitors must have felt?
